Your hosts, the Rose family

Hi! Thanks for your interest in Dreaming Roses Eco-B&B. We are your hosts, Suzy and Todd Rose, and our two awesome daughters. We are artists, musicians, nature lovers, and active members of our community here in the extraordinary Ithaca, New York, area, where we are so lucky to live. We have been homesteading on this beautiful hillside since 2002, working with the land to produce food for our family, as well as other resources, such as firewood. We also utilize the sun to produce much of the electricity we use here, and a geothermal system to heat and cool our home. 

Our home houses multiple small art studios, collectively called Morningsong Studios, where we do our creative work and teaching. We invite you to take a look at our arts and music pages on this site, to see some of our work and get to know us a little better. Suzy works in various media, primarily pastel and watercolor painting. She runs a summer art program for kids that you can learn about here. Todd also works in various media, delving especially deeply into music, musical instrument making, and pottery. You can take a tour through some of his creative output here. 

We've been enjoying hosting bed and breakfast guests here since early 2016. We're very happy that our guests have consistently been delighted with their experience staying here, as reflected in the many enthusiastic reviews and high recommendations we've received (a sampling of these is at the bottom of our home page). We'd love to have the pleasure of hosting your visit, and we hope to hear from you soon.
